BIKES FOR RENT

We offer rent-a-bike service

• Very good road racing bikes and mountain bikes
• For helmets, pedals or shoes there is a 25 Euro extra fee.
  We strongly suggest our clients, though, to bring their own helmets/pedals/shoes!
• Spare/repair kit on every bike
• If renting period is long enough we do provide a floor pump!
• Free delivery to your hotel and pick-up in Como area and of course in Cernobbio...
  For Bellagio, Menaggio and Tremezzo +25 Euro extra delivery/pick-up fee
• On Lake Como guided rides clients will not necessarily ride alone; other customers may join in

PRICE:

Very good road bikes 55 euro per day (65 Euro NEW electronic Di2 group)
City-bikes 25 euro per day

We also offer the following extra services: transfer to/from Malpensa Airport 75 Euro each way (pick-up and drop-off) - transfer to/from Como train station 25 Euro each way

RENTAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Be aware, and please read carefully below's note


INSURANCE

Our bicycles come with a liability policy insurance (to be protected from legal issues in case of an accident).
We also offer damage/theft insurance. This insurance covers the bicycle if it is stolen or damaged. The cost of such insurance is 5 Euro per day and can be purchased from us although it is not obligatory. However, if you don't purchase our insurance, you will need to guarantee the bicycle with a Credit Card.
Your Card will not be charged at all. We simply keep the Credit Card number on file until after your rental in the unlikely event of a problem.


BICYCLE THEFT

This is highly unlikely. Over the years that we have been offering rental service, we have never had a single bicycle stolen.
In the unlikely event that your bicycle is stolen and you have purchased theft insurance with us, then there are no problems. You'll simply have to declare the theft to the local Police and we'll do our best to get another bicycle to you a.s.a.p at no charge. This insurance also covers all accessories that we lend to you.
If you have not purchased an insurance against theft, then we will charge your Credit Card accordingly (about 700 Euro) and you'll also need to report the theft to the Police/local authorities and let us have such report for our files.


DAMAGED BICYCLE

We understand that our bicycles and equipment will go through a lot. We're not worried about normal wear and tear or minor scratches. However, if a cyclist does significant damage to our bicycle during the ride (bent derailleur, broken wheel, etc), we will direct the cyclist to the nearest bike shop en route and the cyclist will have to pay for the repair. In case of a serious damage to the bicycle upon pick-up, then we will charge for whatever repairs are needed. If the rider has purchased our insurance, no charges are incurred.

We deliver bikes in perfect working conditions and as per contract the bikes have to be returned the same way
(tires pumped up... )
and the repair kit has to be complete: 1 spare tube, levers, 1 gas cartridge, 1 gas tool to pump.

If rentals or rides are scheduled in advance (to secure availability!) we do not accept last minute cancellations with refunds
